Check out this girl. Pretty? Beautiful? By all means, yes, yes and yes. Her name is Song Hye Kyo, a Korean actress.

Hey, I thought that this blog is about tech and gadgets (althought I don’t mind the pretty girl).

Here’s the catch. The picture beside is actually a 3D rendering by Max Edwin Wahyudi, an Indonesian 3D artist. Pretty amazing work yea? Quite an achievement. You can see the amount of work Max has put in producing this high quality render here. The full size of the image can be viewed here. It’s a pretty complicated piece and involve such skill and dedication.

With a rendering quality like this, imagine what kind of video games we are going to face in the future. Superior likeness to the real actor / actress. In game movies (and God forbid, in game play) would have this kind of standard. Only then the video games world would be on another whole new level.

In the meantime, let’s just enjoy what Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 has to offer, after all, they are the next gen consoles (Wii, of course, is another story).
