Since the world seems all going to mobile, massive product now focusing on mobile application, include multimedia. We’ve know mobile streaming for 3G subscriber, content download, video on demand ect. Like iPod change the way people listening music, in movie industry it has a breakthrough also. This lead Chungwa Telecom (CHT) to produce the first animation movie dedicated for mobile phone (screen) format.

As reported by digitimes, it had immediate launch of Senior Lovely, an animation movie tailored for play on handset screens, for CHT 3G subscribers. This is the first animation movie specifically targeted for handset platforms in Asia, CHT emphasized. The film itself is a series, 30 sections with each being 2-3 minutes long. Subscribers of CHT’s online mobile services portal, emome, can pay NT$5 (US$0.15) per section for either download or streaming, or pay a flat monthly fee of NT$79 for unlimited use of the movie and others available at the platform.
This breakthrough will somehow give alternative for film industry I believe. And it give some prospect to telecommunication service provider also to give their subscriber rich value added service. I imagine that there will be abundant type and number of this kind of service. Just wait the time, small time.
