Blogs, short for weblogs, are online journals that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. While definitions vary, we can say that blogs are a series of archived Internet posts typically characterized by brief texts entered in reverse chronological order and generally containing hypertext links to other sites recommended by the author. Some blogs utilize videos, photos, and other media. Blogging has become enormously popular, with an estimated 500,000 sites currently in existence and predicted exponential growth.
There are many reasons why people blog. Most of them seem to blog just for fun. Some are blogging to meet other people. Networking is good for your career. Blogging is a good way to meet people. If you’re an engineer, blogging puts you in intimate contact and understanding this mode of technology adoption can only help you. If you’re in marketing, you’ll need to understand how its rules are changing as a result of the current whirlwind, which nobody does, but bloggers are at least somewhat less baffled. Some even make a blog to review blogs.
So, Why do you blog?
