Freedom Ultra Portable Keyboard

For those of you who are using a Pocket PC mobile such as O2  or Dopod, the one problem that’s always there is the existence of a good, comfortable keyboard. I’m using a Dopod 838Pro, with its sliding keyboard. This design, albeit rather popular, still doesn’t give you a comfortable keyboard to type a rather long document. It’s good enough to type in daily activities, such as meetings, phone numbers, and all. But not good enough if you want to start writing a lengthy email, or writing a meeting agenda.

Freedom Mini Keyboard is the answer. Folded, it’s a bit larger than a credit card, but it packs a full QWERTY keyboard. Not as big as any normal PC keyboard of course, but big enough to let you type comfortably. Connection is done via bluetooth, and it features a small USB jack to charge its built in li-ion battery. A full charge will allow you 9 hours typing or around 45 hours of standby. It also feature a multi coloured LED which indicate connectivity and battery charging state. Retailed at USD$100, it’s not too bad.

Now you don’t have to bring a full laptop to your class just so you can type your notes. Just bring in your Pocket PC phone and a Freedom keyboard, and you’ll be typing away with style.
