There are more than ten contestant at the last short film competition held by Thesmalls.com. Some of the are “Pound”, “Toys”, “Diversion”, “Clik Clak, “Overtime”, “Le Grant Content”, “Jackie and Debra”, “Love Letters”, “The Inventoress”, “Britain’s Best Mates”, “All Cats Are Grey in The Dark”, and many others that you can view completely at thesmalls website. Sort of the nominator, there are four winners selected. The Gold winner is Pound by Evan Bernard. It is the story about two kool for skool guys get carried away with their handshakes in NYC.
Next the Silver winner is Toys by PAM. The film describes the weakness and imperfection of a man falling into a failing relationship. He cries with the pain of rejection but also because his girlfriend is better than him at computer games. The Bronze winner is Diversion by Aidan Gibbons and Simon Reeves. The Diversion is about their dull and banal existence in the city, road and traffic signs from all over the country flock towards a new life. Actually, the journey is more treacherous than it seems. Last, Clik Clak was chosen to be the winner of Craft Award for Animation. It is the story of an improbable encounter of two little robots and a very young boy. To communicate, the robots invent a specific language using the sounds of objects to create words and sentences.
